Prime Minister Jüri Ratas will depart for Greece and Cyprusas as a preparatory foreign visits of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Prime Minister Ratas will meet with Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras in Athens. In the second half of the day, the Prime Minister will depart for Cyprus. In Nicosia, it is scheduled to meet President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades.
“Visiting the Member States before the Presidency is a great opportunity to introduce to our colleagues the priorities of our Presidency, but also to hear the expectations and thoughts of other countries for the following half-year. Topics of key importance to Estonia and to the country being visited, but also to the European Union will be discussed,” Ratas said.
