The Estonian Centre Party celebrates its 33rd birthday today with an open day at its Tallinn office at Narva mnt 31.The largest and oldest political party in Estonia is looking forward to welcoming everyone from 14:00 to 16:00 to look back on the past and reflect on the future. \”The Centre Party was founded in 1991 on the basis of the People’s Front, and even now, 33 years later, we carry the same values, standing first and foremost for all the people of Estonia and for a strong middle class,\” assured Mihhail Kõlvart, Chairman of the Estonian Centre Party. \”Celebrating our birthday is a good opportunity to meet each other and exchange ideas in a free form. Let’s be honest, there is a lot to talk about, because recent political events in the country and in Tallinn clearly show that the representatives of the authorities are making empty promises and are unable to offer effective solutions in crisis situations.\” According to Mihhail Kõlvart, Estonian society needs an experienced and hardened political force to unite parties that tend to extremes. \”In government, each party is dragging the decks towards itself, resulting in ten consecutive quarters of recession. The coalition doesn’t even bother to come up with solutions, hoping that the difficult times will come to an end on their own,\” said Mihhail Kõlvart. On the open day, guests will be offered snacks, refreshing drinks, a new issue of the newspaper Kesknädal and a mini exhibition of election campaign memorabilia. The event will also be attended by leading members of the Estonian Centre Party. Watch the video service dedicated to the 33rd birthday of the Centre Party HERE.
